News and Info: Things NCROA members might want to know: Union Pines High School Awards Ceremony
Department President, COL Iggi W. Husar, presented the JROTC Gold Medal to Navy JROTC Cadet Aiden Tolley on 5 May 2026. The awards ceremony was held at Union Pines High School, Cameron, NC.
Cadet Wade Bartlett, Pinecrest High School, was presented the ROA JROTC Certificate and gold medal by Department President, COL Iggi W. Husar at the school's military ball. The awards ceremony was held on 2 May 2026 at the Sandhills Community College (SCC).
Annual Navy ROTC Awards Ceremony-University of North Carolina
Department Life Member CDR John Leonard (USCG), presented the ROA ROTC Certificates to Cadets Annika Bruce and Elinor Storey at the annual Navy ROTC awards ceremony at the University of North Carolina. Cadet Bruce was awarded the ROA ROTC Gold Medal. Cadet Storey was awarded the ROA ROTC Silver Medal.
