Department Life Member CDR John Leonard (USCG), presented the ROA ROTC Certificates to Cadets Zein Oweis and Cadet Sophia Beasey at the annual Navy ROTC awards ceremony at NC State University. Cadet Oweis was awarded the ROA ROTC Gold Medal. Cadet Beasey was awarded the ROA ROTC Silver Medal.
